In case you missed it, Jake Wall, Jennifer Hawkins and Sydney businessman Tim Freeburn co-own a new tequila brand – Sesión Tequila.
Sesión Tequila is a result of the team’s passion for travelling and exploring exotic islands and tasting cocktails made with tequila. It’s this inspiration that inspired them to bottle their endeavours and create their very own tequila.
After only being launched for 4 months, the trio are celebrating the gold medal for their Sesión mocha tequila, while their Blanco and Reposado took silver at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits competition.
There were more than 1850 entries in this prestigious event, (which is the most in the history of this competition) and it was judged by 39 experts.
The award-winning tequila is served on Qantas flights and are currently negotiating for Sesión to be sold internationally. It will be available shortly at First Choice and Vintage Cellars.
